 My Experience
First...this is my first time dealing with the root side of a server.
I had installed CentOS on a simple box at home and used it for my home server prior to this. I have had shared hosting, and got tired of all the restrictions. I have never done anything VPS, but I wanted to learn.
Therefore, I really gave the support guys/gals (if there is a lady) a run for their money. They have been professional and very helpful. This is hard to find. For a nerd like me, there is nothing better than logging in as root. But I have found out that sometimes even root needs help.
HostV has been there to help. What really impressed me was the installation of a custom firewall. They had to do server-wide configurations in order to get this running. Tell me of a host that would take their time to go through all that? Outstanding! I recommend HostV to everyone.
