Hi there,

I am pretty new to hosting with hostV. I signed up for a package that was really well priced. That's good.

The server was set up very quickly. That is also good.

There were some minor problems with the certificate and dns settings, but then support was able to fix this very quickly.

I am still having trouble transfering over a few sites, I don't know if it's the server itself or the old host, so I can't rate.

The sites are offline currently that is the bad. I do have a ticket open and I hope that this will get itself fixed soon, because websites are pretty critical.

Right now my opinion is 50/50. I think I am still too new to provide a full and complete evaluation, so I will update this thread in a week or so, when I see how things go. In the meantime, looking forward to trying out the services once my sites are showing up and working, and hoping for an overall good experience, so that I can provide a good overall rating.

Ok, I have a bit more feedback. I want to say all the tech persons have been really great, but Jeff especially took the initiative and the lead when it came to getting my websites back online, fixing any db issues, and helping me to get the transfer function working.

There are still a couple of problematic websites, but I have to say as a newbie with HostV, Jeff has really ensured my confidence in the tech staff here, and I really look forward to working with HostV.
