Default ASP vs PHP

Which one is better? I want to know the answer from someone who knows both languages really well.

I believe both has its merits, but php is free and more widely used because it is free. Asp requires a lot behind it.

Go for PHP, there is a lot of online support for it which makes it easy to learn and easy to figure out if anything goes wrong for you.

I know a bit of each now and I honestly like working with PHP because most scripts out there are for PHP.

ASP and PHP are both programming languages that are commonly used to create websites. Unlike the usual static html web pages, ASP and PHP websites are more dynamic and can allow users to interact and exchange information using the website's databases. thanks
