Default Php 6

Has anyone started using PHP 6 yet? I want to know how different the code is from PHP 5 and if I am going to have issues with my scripts.

I haven't. PHP5 still isn't as well established as PHP4 so I won't even worry about 6. It will take a few more years for that to happen.

I have not tried it yet, but once it becomes stable I will. Cpanel does a fine job managing php5 now and I do not want to mess that up. I do not know what the difference is yet. Hopefully it better handles memory and server load.

I think php 4 / 5 handles memory good, it is cpanel and faulty scripts that take up all the resources.

Why would they want to have php6 out when they have not even settled people in with php5?

Improved code. You might be able to use one word and have that excute different things rather than a whole bunch of code. The less if / else you can take out the better for all of us.

I think any 'improvements' should not make me have to go and look for why it is not working with older scripts.
