How To: Install Fantastico

[HostV Admin]

1) Run Following in SSH via ROOT Access

cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi 
wget -N http://files.betaservant.com/files/free/fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
tar -xzpf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz 
rm -rf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz

2) Install it via WHM -> bottom left of navigation

3) Setup auto-update and select themes to use with Fantastico.

Well this process went ok.. thought that fantastico was included in the package, but seems you have to purchase a licience for it...

Too bad...

Hello Admin:but what is the link to install the fantastic since WHM.
I am very noob in this themes,afther time fantastico installed in my cpanel.

what is ssh and how do you run something in it some people are totaly new to vps servers

SSH is a command line shell. It connects via the internet to your VPS's shell command line interface. How do you run something, Follow the instructions on the previous message at the top of this messge:

cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi
wget -N http://files.betaservant.com/files/f..._whm_admin.tgz
tar -xzpf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz
rm -rf fantastico_whm_admin.tgz

(copy the text above, paste it into the ssh command line and watch it download the files required, setup the requird files and bobs your uncle!!)

If you don't know what copy and paste is? you really shouldn't be a webmaster!!
