Default Change my hosted domain?

Currently, I have a hosted domain such as abc.com on HostV as my primary domain and the DNS are ns1.abc.com and ns2.abc.com
I particularly have about 200 MB data for that domain abc.com.

Now I'd like to change my hosted domain to xyz.com (DNS will be ns1.xyz.com and ns2.xyz.com) and the abc.com will be pointed to ns1.xyz.com and ns2.xyz.com. Could I maintain the current Cpanel and its data? Do I only need to change my hosted domain from abc.com to xyz.com (with DNS settings for xyz.com) and point abc.com to the DNS of xyz.com ? And the abc.com will run well ?

I intend to do it myself. However, I'd like to know if I could submit a ticket and the support team could do somethings for me?

Thanks

By the way, the service of HostV.com is outstanding. I am very satisfied up to now.
If you are looking for a good VPS at reasonable price, HostV.com is the best choice. That's my thought after nearly six months of using HostV VPS and I amn't an affiliate of HostV!

Hi,

Thank you for your kind feedback about hostv.

Yes, you can change the nameservers of the domain abc.com to ns.xyz.com, provided you should point ns.zyx.com to the same IP as that of ns.abc.com. There wont be any data loss during this process.
