Servers Optimized for vBulletin?

So I have a medium-sized forum (Poetry in Color Forum) - has about 36,000 posts or some such with close to 1000 members - it's been stagnant for several months - I'd turned off new registrations while preparing for VPS hosting... Another forum at WLSJourney.org - The Journey Homepage which I have yet to open registrations for - I'm anticipating that this will be busy and popular.

Question: is HostV optimized to run 2 successful, medium-sized vBulletin forums on the same account? Which VPS do you recommend?

Bro, As far as I know you can run over 10 such medium sized forums with decent traffic on your VPS. And I would suggest you a VZ1 plan for now and you can upgrade the plan if you think the VPS is unable to handle it.

I agree. A vz1 can handle a fair amount of users online at the same time. You are always able to upgrade at anytime if you need more resources.

That's what I'm concerned about really is the amount of resources available. Both forums run vBSEO which is a bit server intensive modification. vBulletin itself is a bit server intensive as well.

On my current shared hosting with a total of 1,196 additional domains hosted on the same IP address, I've gotten quite a few database errors most of which are "max_user_connections" error as quoted below. Other reports show high CPU and memory usage. Below is an example.

I just want to make sure that these errors on shared hosting will be absolutely gone in VPS hosting. And yes - the current shared host I'm with - well - to say they oversell their accounts would be the understatement of the decade.

Yeah a vz1 vps would mean better control over the serer and other services on the server . You will be able to adjust the maximum mysql connection limit according to your need since you have complete control over the server. Moreover we will be here to assist should something go wrong.
