Default Pre-Sales Questions

Hello,

I am interested in your VZ1 package and have some questions.

I plan on purchasing this package on the 1st of November 2009 using PayPal.

Will it be possible to have my webiste up and live by that day also or do you have a setup time or waiting period?

I plan on taking advantage of your 50% promo offer, however during my first year should I need to upgrade to VZ2 can this offer still be used as I upgrade?

I am new to VPS but have been using shared hosting for quite some time, is it going to be a drastic change for me and do you think amateurs find it easy to cope and migrate to VPS?

Thanks.

Hi,

We can get the VPS setup within 1-2hrs normally, but to get the website up and running in the same day is definitely also no problem, just contact us, you need to have your DOMAIN ready, register the nameservers and get it going.

When you upgrade, we can still apply 50% but only for that payment cycle 1st time

You can read Getting Started - HostV VPS but we'll help you no worries.

Cheers

Thank you for the quick and detailed reply.

Would it be possible to get some performance examples from you?

For instance if I had a vBulletin Forum running on VZ1, how many simultaneous members could I have online at once without going over my allocated resources?

Also, lets say I had a mailing list with 10,000 subscribers. How many emails can be sent out AT ONCE before I run into problems. With my current host this is set at 400 and for me it is a big problem. I know I have the option to stagger the sending out of emails but sometimes I need to send out instantaneous announcements.

Hi,

I don't know exact number as it really depends on your site optimizations, software used, which php version you wish to customize/install and what functions you have on your FORUMS COMMUNITY. vBulletin can run many different addons, the more it has, the more resources it takes

Either way you can give it a try, and if VZ1 isn't enough, we can always upgrade you.

Cheers
