I am definitely looking for a serious host for a VPS, I recently had one company cancel my account because "It is against the internet rules to have a name server ending in .info, the ruling authority states that only .com and .net are allowed."

Another host I had the support was non-existant, another host had way to much securiity were half of fantastico scripts wouldn't run, php was tightened to much so that the scripts couldn't check to see if a file it created existed (it generates a token file locally and checks to see if the file exists before allowing access to stuff.) Also with OpenBaseDir active, you can't have any files outside of the allowed path so my download manager script wouldn't work as it requires a majority of the files to be outside the web path.

I usually only use Fantastico for script testing, If I like it, I prefer to d/l it and install it myself (besides, the folks at netenberg aren't known for fast updating of their scripts when new versions come out :-) )

Hopefully the special will still be on in May.
