Default Is there a file limit on vds accounts?

Hi, the problem I have with my current vps account through Ipower is that there is a file limit (inode cap). Since my site is a fast growing community and chat site I have reached this limit. I currently have about 15,000 member and we are growing about 100 new registered members per day. Each member also has a personal photo gallery, can upload and share videos, and many other database intensive things. What hurts me now is that the database is unable to create or write any new files due to this cap so many of the site features no longer work and new members can no longer register. On top of all of these files there are all of the joomla files along with the message boards, blogs, and groups.

I just signed up for your vz2 plan hoping to get away from this as it looks like you don't have a cap on files but thought I better ask to double check and make sure this won't be an issue.

Hi sfraise,

Yes there exists an inode limit for a vps and it is 2147483647 which should really be good enough for everyone. Let us know should you need any more info

Cheers !

lol ok, that sure beats my 400,000 with Ipower, I pay twice as much for that plan for 10gb less hard disk space, 256mb less memory, and incompetent tech support to boot. Please hurry and get my server set up so I can ditch those loosers once and for all.

If your order is completed and you still haven't received your login details, please let me know via PM the E-Mail address on your billing account, and I'll ensure it gets setup asap.
