Transfer to VZ1 - Should I?

Hi,

Should I transfer my Cirtex shared hosting account (Professional Plan) to a VZ1 account?

I have had a few timeout problems on my existing account.

So, I have to ask this question.

Does anyone have the same issues on these VZ servers.

VZ-1 plan should be a lot more secure and stable for your site, along with the fact that you'll have full access and control to the server itself so you can customize it for your own needs. So definitely you should give it a try, and we can help you migrate over to it 100%.

I am trying to migrate from another host to vz1 and have not succeeded yet.
It seems complicated and im not so good with vps,i just rent one for a small tubesite with php motion and some galleries and then upgrade as i go to the next level.

Hi Admin,

On my shared 'Professional' plan, I have some 'Addon Domains'. If I migrate to VZ1, will the structure be the same, or will I need to set up different accounts in WHM for each domain. As they are all Joomla driven, it gets a bit tricky?

That is up to you really, by default we will transfer the account with the same setup as under your Professional Plan. However, if you would like for each domain to have its own hosting/cPanel account, that is possible to setup through your WHM interface on your VPS.

In the end I plucked up the courage to transfer my website to the HOSTV VZ1 plan.

This seams to be a good entry level option. The transfer went without any problems.
