Default Moving to HOSTV?

Hello Guys,

I registered today to inquire some more things that I might need to know before switching to you guys from Ixwebhosting (ixwebhosting.com). The package, I am looking for is the VZ2. My website's url is WheelsBD.com. Its Bangladesh's Largest Automotive Website. The website contains a vbulletin forum, a photopost gallery, a photopost classifieds and the Joomla Homepage. The gallery is the only thing that pushes the memory quota. Right now, my site's disk space is around 5GB. My site eats up around 35GB in bandwidth every month. The community is growing and I want to enhance the site and not have worries of moving to a new host after this. Here are the questions:

1. Do you provide PHP5 & MYSQL5 versions? I do not want any older models
2. It says 50GB Diskspace, if my site is getting bigger in disk space, I will be upgrading to the VZ3. Bandwidth says its 2000GB, so that means my site wont be shut down if I maintain the limits correct? Do you think thats enough for my site to handle for now or do you recommend a dedicated server?
3. I do not have much knowledge about Linux, it says setup is free and instant. Can you help me with links on what I would need to know about my vps account?
4. I am hosted with IXWebhosting, its their Unlimited Pro Shared Hosting, its good but its shared, that means its much slow and more restricted. My forum averages around 100 users online everyday, so do you think the VPS can handle 500 users everyday pretty soon?
5. I will have to move all the files and the databases since your support staff said that only cpanel transfers are done by you guys. I am ready to pay your estimate if you guys can do the ftp backup of my site and then restore it in your vps account once I purchase the plan from you guys. I live in Canada and the upload speed is ridiculously slow. I am ready to shutdown my site for 2 days for this transfer to go smoothly. My host uses hsphere control panel.
6. My shared hosting has issues with mailing the users from the vbulletin forum interface, part of me moving to a VPS is to make sure that the mails get sent to all my users and the server doesnt crash or time out everytime. I have around 3700 members to send mails in a weekly basis. I will have default phpmail settings in vbulletin, so will I have to do anything else to send the mail easily? I will create a mail account called (noreply@wheelsbd.com) under your cpanel to make it work.
7. With this package, how many mysql databases can you make? What is the size that each database can carry? Are there any limits?
8. Do you provided managed vps services? Is it worth taking the Managed VPS? Does that make my site more secured? What exactly falls in this category, do you take regular backups and restore the website if its hacked?
9. How fast are your hosted servers? Can I see a demo of sites using this particular package? I can monitor how that site works then.
10. I understand your uptime guarantees, I hope its as good as it sounds.
14. I would appreciate any customers opinion who did such a transfer. 5GB might seem less to transfer but for me in Canada, its a headache, most of the times, the files dont get transferred. My gallery consists of 3.5 gb, the forum and other contents carry around 1.5 to make it 5GB in total.

Please check Usage Statistics for wheelsbd.com - Last 12 Months and Statistics to see if the site activity is a piece of cake for your company's VPS-Rage accounts to cooperate with. Lastly, is there any coupons this month for such an account to be a little bit cheaper, if not any idea when it might get cheaper?

1) Yes, as well with a VPS you can really install whichever you prefer.
2) Upgrading as necessary is not a problem, and in the event of exceeding bandwidth on a VPS we will allow time to upgrade before disabling the website. If your site is currently using only 35GB transfer per month, then 2000GB should be plenty.
3) A VPS takes a few hours to activate, then you will receive your login details to a fully configured cPanel/WHM server. If you run in to any problems or have any questions, just email our support staff, we're here to help.
4) Yes, the VPS should be able to accommodate your site with far more power than the shared hosting service. 500 visitors over the course of the day should not be a problem at all.
6) This shouldn't be a problem, as well you can configure any mail limitations on your VPS. Shared hosting typically has a limitation on mails that can be sent per hour. With your VPS, you will have the ability to put in place a limit such as this, but by default there will be no limitation.
7) There is no limitation on the number of MySQL databases. The only limitation is the space used, which works just like disk space.
8) At this time all of our VPS services are semi-managed.
9) Our hardware nodes are running at minimum dual quad-core processes (2.4GHz+) with 32GB+ RAM, so your site will be served as quickly as possible.

We currently have available a "50PROMO" coupon code that can be used to receive 50% off your first invoice with our VPS hosting services.

Thanks for the answer, however I seek the answer for my question#5, which is the most important part. Can you guys move the databases and the web contents via ftp or the hsphere admin panel built into ixwebhosting's shared hosting account to the vps account that I am willing to purchase?

Yep, we can handle the migration, not a problem.
