CPU consumption - Plesk vs Cpanel

Hello

Currently have my site on a VPS. Hold 5 GB of disk space. We have between 40 and 60 GB of monthly transfer.

I'm thinking of moving to VZ1 Hostv. But I should like to clarify something.

Currently consumption averaged 180 mb of ram. Rarely reach 200 mb. And uses Plesk.

I heard that Cpanel uses more RAM. Is that true? In any case, I would like to know if I reach 256 mb. My idea is to continue using the same resources as before. It could even reduce consumption through the use of plugins such as wp-cache wordpress.

Hi,

Cpanel does use more ram typically, however cpanel has recently rolled out cPanel - The Leading Control Panel , you can read more on it. So in my opinion I think you should be fine given you email our support team to optimize your VPS and uninstall un-needed services such as extra statistics tracking if you use 3rd party such as google analytics and so on.
