I am not techy minded in the slightest so please bear with...

I am on the hunt for an alternative to Invisions servers as I have just run out of storage space and the next decent Invision package is going to double my costs.

This is what I have at the moment:-

1800MB diskspace
100GB bandwidth
Unlimited e-mail accounts
Unlimited FTP accounts
10 MySQL databases

and this is their alternative:-

3500Mb Storage Space
175Gb Data Transfer


It seems as if your VZ2 package would suffice though it's all Japanese to me?

At present I am using over 2100mb of storage, have in excess of 4500 members, that have contributed 400'000 posts and nearly 27'000 images in 18 months.

I am concerned about the speed of your servers as this is something the members get all hot and bothered about and also how often downtime comes around. Never had downtime in the 18 months with invision.

Also, I have no idea how to back-up and place on your servers (Cpanel), would you do this, do you guarantee the safety and confidentiality of my forums information and what would the downtime of the conversion be?

I also have another website (packagingonline.net) which I would like you to look at and confirm that this could also be hosted within the same package (no extra cost) without any interference to or from the forum?

Forgot to mention, my forum is of an adult nature, is there any laws permitting you hosting it?

I'd suggest the VZ-2 and don't see any reason why the server couldn't handle that amount of traffic.

All of the HostV nodes run on 32gb Ram minimum all on the latest Quad Xeon CPUS- downtime should not be an issue.

We can migrate your site for you once making an order and this is free of cost. Downtime would be the 24 hours or so it takes for DNS to resolve to the new server. You can rest assured that no data is used or crawled, we only migrate the site and we do not look at information about your users.

You can add packagingonline.net using WHM and host as many domains and create as many accounts as your bandwidth and disk space allow. Adult sites are okay as well.
