Green Computers

Anyone actually bought one and found there was a significant reduction in electric bill? A company is doing that but the cost of all new machines seems more than its worth.

I heard there is a big reduction. I think all computers are heading this way. I will just wait till I need to make a general upgrade and then purchase a new computer that's compliant.

Remember the old energy star sticker that would appear on computers some years back? Its nothing new. Soon green will be standard.

I agree about it becoming a norm for the future, but it certainly isn't that way right now.

I think a lot of people are switching became there is a big push in this area, plus people want to feel like they are helping the cause so to speak.
