What is your error pages like, is it customized? I just point mine to a specific page.

Usually I get this to go to a custom search page I have designed that helps them to find what they are looking for.

If you use .htaccess the possibilities are limitless and what you can do with an error page.

Actually a lot of people can get error pages and they can be quite a good niche if used correctly. For instance you can direct each user to a domain just as clipshare suggested.

Yes you can do that too, it can be quite a money making venture if you put ads on their pages to at least I think that's legal.

You can also put it to a site's Google page that will enable you to use Google to find what they're looking for.

You can just create a default page in cpanel and then record what they were looking for so you can implement it.

Yes if you select error log you will be able to see all pages that were not found but requested. Some of them are default like robots.txt.
