3D Glasses

Are 3D glasses all the same or is it based on the kind of 3D movie you are watching?

I have seen one color ones but I don't know how it works. They need to have the technology where you don't need to put on the glasses.

You can practically make them really - just get the tinted paper and make a paper cut out for the glasses.

Is it red and blue or red and green? Which color goes over which eye or does it not matter?
