Depends on use. Probably about a week or so but you need a backup while charging.

The bad thing about a mouse without a chord is they tend to be very heavy.

Man those things are really heavy aren't they? I remember reverting to a USB mouse and remember it feeling light like a feather after using battery mouse.

Yes they are but I actually think that helps to ensure that mouse is more accurate when moving it.

This one doesn't say but at least you get an idea of the price: Targus Wireless Rechargeable Optical Notebook Mouse Black / Silver (AMW22USZ): Compare Prices, View Price History and Read Reviews at NexTag

I notice it is really hard to find any kind of statistics on that anywhere online.

I think because they're really not that popular and recharging rates would vary anyway.

I have this mouse: Newegg.com - Logitech Performance Mouse MX and love the fact I can just put it on the charger and not buy batteries. It lasts 36-48 hours of use until it needs charged again. Every 2 or 3 days I charge it, but I work 10-12 hours a day on my PC. I had it replaced under warranty once and Logitech told me that it will last a week before needing charged if you only use it 6-8 hours a day.

That is one of the things I thought about when I saw those... the charge will start to get less and less as time goes by and for someone like me online all day I will end up sticking in a USB mouse.
