Default More RAM or More CPU Power

Which one do you think is more important to have on a system?

That is a difficult question but honestly I think its always better to have more CPU because its easier to upgrade RAM.

I agree with clipshare and think its best to just have reasonable RAM with the best cpu you can find.

I'd say it really depends on what you're doing. Graphic artists tend to need more RAM that they do with speed.

I think you are right phpmotion. I wonder though if you had minimum RAM but very fast processor how would your system hold up?

That would definitely slow you down unless you had a fast HD that you could use for some of the memory.

Maybe in the end having the right RAM and a slower CPU will work better because the other way around it does not work well.
