In order to get this what do i have to prove? Do I need to be part of any learning institution?

If you are a student in a college then I think you get a special rate but you also cant use the software for commercial use.

Basically student software is for you to learn how to use the program and that's it. Most you can do is sell it to the next person.

In other words it is pretty useless its better to go for the full version and just pay a little bit more.
