Nice for business but a bit intrusive if you don't know how to use it. For instance you can signal to speak with the person who is visiting, that is irritating for me.

That won't work on most browsers today because of popup blockers stopping windows from opening up to you.

If you don't use the push feature you should be ok, just leave it there as an option because if you aren't online then it becomes a support link.

I used it once but had to take it off because it was using up too much of my resources. Possibly i put it on too many pages.

Probably or you might have had it running all the time. If bots were accessing it all the time then this could always cause that problem.

Or didn't install it properly or had the settings to check too often, there are so many factors to this kind of script.

The biggest thing to me is that yiou are actually there to have it on. Worst thing is to have an online chat interface that is always closed.
