Default Mod Security and Forum

Mod security is always messing with some of my forum posts and actions, what can i do to specifically stop that but not disable it?

You can edit the patterns of code but i will admit it can become a bother so use it wisely.

Mod security is just a help and not meant to be a cure all for security. you are better off securing your own scripts.

What you can do is activate it for just a certain folder and other sites where you have the problem you turn it off.

You know I once tried doing that via .htaccess but mod security just ignored it.

I tried disabling it for a folder once before and it still read through. I remember finding a work around but can't remember what it was.
