How to decrease run time?
i get these warnings about scripts going for over two minutes of run time... how can I stop that to let's say a max of 30 seconds?

Depending on how your system is set up you can use either a .htaccess or php.ini file to take care of that.

Max execution time should do that for you just set the time in seconds you don't want the script to pass.

If you are having problems you may want to check how php is set in your server.

I have that same problem sometimes so what I do is go into the script and make the run time part of the code.

The best way around it is to tweak your scripts because there have been so many so called solutions but they don't work with crappy scripts.

I have to agree with Wilber on this because with some scripts no matter what you do they become a nuisance if the code is written bad.

The main problem with that is most people do not know how to optimize scripts, you do need to be quite expert with php really.

I always say if you don't know what you are running then you shouldn't be running it.
