Concentrating around noise

How well can you create a web page or code or whatever while there is irritating background noise?

It depends on what kind of noise. If it is a lot of people talking then its hard, if it is like a jack hammer I can ignore that.

Once I'm focused on something there could be an earthquake happening and I still will not be distracted.

Lucky for you, I've found that the older I get the harder it is to concentrate with people yapping in the background.

I hate noise that is nagging like someone talking to you in the background but music is fine, thats why i wear ear phones at work

Do they allow you to wear headphones around work though? the only thing with that is if something is happening you can't hear!

Focusing on the objective and not on noise around you is an art, some people can do it and others can't.

An art for for sure. I have a cousin that can pretty much do his thing no matter what the noise around him.
