Is the +1 icon from Google working for anyone yet?

Not for me. i installed it one day and took it off the next. It slowed my pages down in one instance.

I haven't seen it slow my pages down but I have seen that no one gives me a +1 and since you have to register just to do that it makes no sense!

I think this will come on stream more when Google's social network becomes more popular.

From the clicks I have seen people getting its more of an inner circle thing where they click on their friend's link or the Google team.

That is going to be so slow going because to register and all that just to click is going to make it a very slow go.

Well yes but its till very new so its hard to say how good it is or will be.

Google had this +1 icon placed next to sites for a short period of time and then moved it I guess because so many people had no +1s to their site.
