Page Loading Time

How long do you think it should take a page to load before a typical user becomes turned off and leaves?

I will say no more than 2-3 seconds and for some people that is like an eternity.

I will give a page up to 5 just because I know sometimes networks can get very busy.

5 seconds is a long time, you must be patient. I will only do that if its a site I already am on. After the fourth second I'm getting antsy.
