Desktop Will Be No More?

Do you think just now no one will have a desktop system and everyone will be on laptops?

I think there will be smaller desktops but it won't go away completely. You can't really upgrade a laptop much.

It will never leave. Portability is nice, but you usually cannot upgrade portable stuff.

The actual frame may get very small. I think upgrades will be done as plugins so you don't have to open up your system.

Desktop will always be here because there will always be someone who wants to do more than a laptop can handle.

Not if they make them smaller. So if you can do the same things as a desktop on a laptop then why take all the bulk?

I like the plugin idea, but if you have to plugin anything it takes away from it being portable.
