VPS vs. Dedicated

Yeah you could probably take the VZ3 plan, I doubt anyone could need more than that unless you're running your own little facebook.

Don't forget, not everyone has just 1 site on their server. A few good sized sites can easily warrant a dedicated server.

Well of course, I think most people who take a VPS probably have large sites already.

The main issue is cost. If you are making way over what it costs to run then go for it.

One thing you have to consider about dedicated is that you have to know the setup of a server inside and out or you'll be in big trouble.

There are some plans that cover setup and installation of software, etc. I'm not sure if HostV does that for dedicated because I'm on VPS.
