VPS vs. Dedicated
WHen did you make the move from VPS to dedicated or I should say when do you think you will need a dedicated server?

I'm good with VPS right now. I only see myself needing dedicated when I far surpass what the VPS does for me.

I would have to be making about 10 times the amount of the cost of a dedicated for it to make sense.

10 times? I think just six times would be reason enough. I think dedicated is around 300 so if you are making 1800 it would be more than justifiable really.

I'll go over to dedicated when I've pretty much maxed out four VPS accounts.

Do dedicated servers come with support or are you pretty much on your own?

If you do not need dedicated then vps is very good to have especially if they are semi-managed.

I think its time for me to move to dedicated, but I just can't afford the money that goes into a dedicated server.

What I did once was take two PS accounts and migrated some of my stuff to the second one. I paid less and had more space / bandwidth.

Or you could just take a bigger capacity VPS, hostv has a couple.
