Default Wolfram Alpha

It seems like the competition of Google is coming to stay. It is not your regular search engine but answers any questions you may have by providing the sites you may be looking for.

I heard about it for months now kind of glad they released it because I would like to know what all the fuss is about I doubt very much it would be a serious competition to Google.

No way this new engine can be a competition for google, to start there are two different things and second google has its own loyal audience that won't change just because of this new program.

Why not? It's not like Google is invincible or something....but we will have to see what this new one is about before making any predictions.

I am not saying Google is invincible, however I haven't seen any indications that this new engine would be a serious competition for Big G unless you can prove otherwise.

They recently launched and already are in front line news, but I think the idea of it is that Google buys it.

They are probably in talks already. If yahoo/microsoft get their hands on this, then it will give their search engines an edge over Google.

I foresee a bidding war.
