Barcode font

There seems to be a fad for barcode font, do you think its kind of tacky?

I think it is tacky. I mean you can use it in some art projects but generally it doesn't look good if you don't know what you're doing.

I think its kind of cool just at the bottom of your site with copyright info.

Using it that way I guess is alright but plastering it as a title just does not cut it for me.

I like the font but I agree that there has to be restraint in using it.

I have not seen this font used so much, do you have an example of its misuse?
